Processing and Characterization of Iron Oxide Nanoparticle Produced by Ball Milling Technique

In this study iron oxide (Fe2O3) nanoparticle samples was prepared using mechanical grinding method. The optical properties were studied UV-Vis spectrophotometer within a range of 200-1100nm. micro and crystalline size the x-ray diffractometer (XRD) scanning electron microscopy (SEM). compositional analysis carried out energy dispersive spectroscopy (EDXS). Observation electrical an four-point probe system. XRD pattern in 2θ from 20 to 700 revealed that had rhombohedral structure. SEM result showed nanoparticles well dispersed uniform EDXS results elemental under consideration. Iron composition oxygen, iron, titanium carbon. atomic weight concentration 14.19 30.89%. resistivity shows sheet resistance 9.8x106Ώ/sq. made it known possessed high transmittance, also displayed low reflectance moderate absorbance. Finally, bandgap Fe2O3 ethanol found be 2.74 eV. Band gap distilled water is 2.98
